Kim Lumsden lives in Southern California and owns a successful business.

She has traveled throughout Northern Arizona and considers the Verde Valley her second home.  Kim has a deep understanding of the political, cultural, historical and geological concepts of the area due to the personal relationships she has fostered with the land and its people.  One of her special interests includes the Southwest water crisis where she is actively involved in raising public awareness concerning this issue.

When she is not working or writing, Kim can be found exploring sacred sites, locations of historical interest and geological wonders.
