This is seriously fun reading that is page-turning and entertaining, yet thought-provoking. The descriptive scenery makes you want to jump in your car and start driving to the locales! Looking forward to more adventures and wisdom!

This story hooked me right from the beginning. I read it through in one setting. It was worth missing a few hours of sleep. Kim masterfully weaves an interesting tale sprinkled with plausible magic and intrigue. The romance is icing on the cake. It was hard not to sneak a peak at the end of each chapter, even with the anticipation that something delectable was waiting there.

I love the interweaving of modern day issues and old, old, old tribal teachings set in the unraveling of an old tragic mystery in such a knowledgable and vivid telling.
The characters are vivid and memorable and fun.
The writing style is delightful.
Like Tony Hillerman – if he wrote about the universe.
Absolutely enjoyed it!
When’s the next one?

Bravo! Bravo! What an authentic and incredible romp through the Southwest this turned out to be, this is a great read. Chandra’s story was chilling, Miss Ada and Miss Molly are my new best friends, and including the recipes for the meals served in the book was brilliant. Congratulations! Folks who read this book will find more than they expected. Thanks for the sacred heart space and humor. Bernyce Barlow, author of Sacred Sites of the West

This is a great read, engrossing and entertaining with a piquant style which leads one along, hungry for the story. (The recipes are GREAT, too.) I loved the authenticity of the geography and the whole setting in the Sedona area; it is obvious the author is well acquainted with specific sacred sites, and an authority regarding Hopi and Buddhist practices. I hope there is a sequel!

Great Book!

Ancestors’ Wake was a great read! Even for a guy! I loved the progression of the tale, the character development and Kim’s excellent turn of phrase. This is a great story to help connect us to the spiritual nature of all our lives.
